Last week I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses National Summit in Washington, D.C. — and what an inspiring few days it was!
From hearing Martha Stewart talk about the art of reinvention, to Michael Phelps reminding us about resilience and routine, and Lloyd Blankfein sharing his lessons in leadership — it was a powerful reminder that every great business, big or small, starts with the courage to dive in and keep going.
Even more motivating was connecting with hundreds of other small business owners from across the country — makers, bakers, builders, and dreamers all navigating the same highs and hurdles. Together, we took our collective voices to Capitol Hill to meet with New Jersey’s representatives and senators, advocating for policies that strengthen and support small businesses like ours.
It was a proud moment to represent Boomerang Bites — and to share how we’re blending Aussie heart, local community, and a mission to give back with every bite. Because when small businesses thrive, communities do too.
